An inherited home. A property that needs work. A change you didn’t plan for. You don’t have to navigate it alone.
START WHERE YOU ARE
You don’t have to have it all figured out.
Sometimes selling a home comes with more than a moving checklist. There may be repairs, family decisions, financial pressure, or years of belongings to sort through.
We’re Andy and Patti. Tell us what’s going on, and we’ll listen first. Then we’ll help you understand the real estate options and take the next step at a pace that fits your situation.
Sorting through a property while handling a loss can feel like a lot. We can help assess the home, talk through preparation and pricing, and coordinate the real estate steps with your personal representative, attorney, or other advisors.
Downsizing or a change in lifestyle
Maybe the stairs, the upkeep, or the extra space no longer fit your life. We’ll help you think through what comes next, what to do with your current home, and how to make the timing work for you.
A house that needs work
You don’t need to have everything fixed before reaching out. Andy’s hands-on renovation and investment experience helps us discuss practical options: prepare the property, make targeted improvements, or market it in its current condition.
Mortgage stress or foreclosure concerns
If keeping up with the mortgage has become difficult, start with a private conversation about the real estate side of your situation. Andy holds the Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource (SFR) certification. We can help assess a potential sale and coordinate with your lender and legal advisors. A sale is not a guaranteed way to stop foreclosure.
Divorce, separation, or a family transition
When a move involves several people and strong emotions, clear communication matters. We’ll discuss the property, the timeline, and the real estate process, working with the appropriate decision-makers and advisors.
An investment or property from a distance
Managing a rental, a vacant home, or a Maine property while living elsewhere can be challenging. We can help you assess the condition, organize the next steps, and develop a marketing plan around the property and your goals.
Share as much or as little as you’re comfortable with. We’ll ask about the property, your priorities, and any important dates.
02
Understand the property and your options
We’ll discuss market value, condition, preparation, and possible sale approaches. If a lender, attorney, or tax professional needs to weigh in, we’ll help you identify the questions to ask.
03
Build a practical plan
If selling makes sense for you, we’ll work through pricing, marketing, timing, and the steps needed to move forward. You choose whether to proceed.
